History, Hush Puppies, and Good Company
Uncle Sandy and Aunt Karen visited from Maryland, joining us for a memorable trip to Fort Sumter. Lolo and Wyatt had a fantastic time exploring the rich history of the fort and even helped fold the flag during the evening ceremony, a truly special experience. Lolo thoroughly enjoyed the ferry ride out, despite getting a bit seasick on the return trip. We capped off the night at Fleet Landing Restaurant & Bar, savoring mouthwatering hush puppies and shrimp and grits that were truly unforgettable. Before heading home, we captured the perfect family moment on the steps of the historic US Custom House in downtown Charleston. The night didn't end there—back at our house, we relaxed around the firepit, enjoying music, laughter, and delicious s'mores under the stars.
